Private Ice Rental

Imagine a brand new, smooth sheet of ice all to yourself! That’s just what you or your group can enjoy at the Penobscot Ice Arena. Private ice rentals are surprisingly affordable, at only $240 for an hour session. The ice rental fee includes rental skates for groups of 25 or fewer skaters and each skater over 25 is $5 per skater.

If you prefer, you can use your time to skate with your friends to skate to music or organize your own hockey game.

Times are limited and usually must be scheduled well in advance, but the Arena’s scheduler does try to keep some free time available for private rentals when they are setting each month’s schedule.

Liability:

All skaters must sign a “Waiver & Release of Liability” before stepping on ice. No Exceptions. All players skate at their own risk

For all private ice rentals with skaters under the age of 18, that include the use of stick & puck on the ice, ALL skaters MUST have a helmet and cage on! No Exceptions. Insurance regulations…

** This does not apply to skaters 18 & over with a signed waiver
